HOW YOU PAID

Just like Busking, there is no guarantee the audience will pay anything.

​This said, it would be a lousy set of souls watching if they did not value your music above $ 0.00.

​​

To cater to the above, and give the audience something to take away, we will offer the audience the opportunity to download the songs you sing on the night for a fee.

​

​To this end, please email an .mp3 or .wav copy of the song/s you wish to sing right away so they can made available on the website.

​The official “Original Music Night Album" for the night will be sold from this website and it’s up to each musician to let the audience know about this opportunity during their performance. 

​

The audience will be able to choose between downloading the whole Album for $ 10 or any track at $ 1.00 each.

IMPORTANT

Performers earn 75% of the earnings derived from downloads of their songs.

 

Album downloads share $ 7.50 amongst all Acts.

 

e.g. Assuming 6 Acts being made up as follows:

4 individual performers

2 groups

 

And assuming 40 Albums were downloaded between two consecutive "Original Muisc Nights".

Then, P ayout calculated as follows:

Sales 40 x 10 $ 400.00

Total Payout available $300.

6 Acts, so each Act will receive $300/6 = $50.00.

Albums and tracks sales will only be available for sale for the time period between Original Music nights.

  

Paymentspaid via bank to bank transfer processed within 7 days after the next Original Music Night event.

Transparency: Tables showing downloads will be shown on the Website for all to see. Please provide bank details via email.
